Evans misses game with leg injury

Senior guard Kastine Evans did not play on Sunday after suffering from an undisclosed leg injury.

Evans, the Cats’ third leading scorer at 11.2 points a game, had started 30 straight games before being sidelined. She was on the UK bench and appeared to be walking normally. UK officials do not believe it is a season ending injury.

Jennifer O’Neill started in Evans’ place. It was her first start of the season after starting 32 last season.
