Kentucky can’t have any missteps and Tennessee is going to have to trip up for the Cats to defend their Southeastern Conference regular-season championship this season. UK has a tough, tough road (quite literally).
Looking ahead, league leading Tennessee has four of its last six games at home and just two ranked opponents left on the schedule No. 16 Texas A&M and at No. 8 Kentucky. Those are the Lady Vols’ final two games of the regular season.
Five of Kentucky’s last seven games are on the road and the Cats have games against four ranked opponents left on their schedule: versus No. 13 Georgia, versus No. 15 South Carolina, at No. 16 Texas A&M (Big Monday game) and versus No. 9 Tennessee in the season finale at Memorial Colisuem.
