Cats ranked No. 18 in pre-season

I’m back from maternity leave …

In other news, the Associated Press poll released on Saturday has UK rated No. 18. It’s the first time in school history that the Cats earned a pre-season ranking in back-to-back seasons. UK is one of four Southeastern Conference teams rated including No. 3 Tennessee, No. 13 Georgia and No. 21 LSU. Three other UK opponents are in the top 10, including No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 7 Duke and No. 9 Louisville.
