Kentucky earns No. 2 seed

By winning at Auburn and having Georgia lose at Florida on Sunday, Kentucky earned the SEC Tournament’s No. 2 seed when the event starts Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

On Friday at 3:30 p.m., UK will face the winner of Alabama and Louisiana State. The top seed went to Tennessee, with the No. 3 seed to Vanderbilt and the No. 4 seed to Georgia.

Here is the complete schedule (all times are Eastern)

  • Thursday (all games on FSN) — Arkansas vs. Florida, 1 p.m.; Alabama vs. Louisiana State, 3:30; Ole Miss vs. South Carolina, 7:30; Mississippi State vs. Auburn, 10
  • Friday’s quarterfinals (all games on FSN) — Tennessee vs. Arkansas-Florida winner, 1 p.m.; Kentucky vs. Alabama-Louisiana State winner, 3:30; Georgia vs. Ole MIss-South Carolina winner, 7:30; Vanderbilt vs. Auburn-Missisippi State winner, 10
  • Saturday’s semifinals (all games on ESPNU) — 4 and 6:30 p.m.
  • Sunday’s finals (ESPN2) — 5:30 p.m.
