Kentucky’s SEC seeding scenarios

With Florida’s win over Vanderbilt on Friday night, Kentucky was guaranteed a first-round bye in this week’s Southeastern Conference Tournament for the third time in the past four years. The Cats will be either a No. 2 seed or a No. 3 seed. Which of those seeds is still dependent on the games Sunday.
To jump Georgia and be the No. 2 seed, the Cats will need to win at Auburn and have the Bulldogs lose at Florida.
The SEC  Tournament starts on Thursday at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena and it runs through Sunday. All of the first- and second-round games are on FSN with the semifinals on ESPNU and the championship on ESPN2 at 4:30 p.m.
